Film- and shooting location Lake Constance - Action in the four-country region!
The FilmCommission Lake Constance serves to promote the regional film industry and offers domestic and foreign filmmakers free advice, information and support on all aspects of filming in the cross-border four-country region of Lake Constance.
It is part of the regional contact points for filmmakers in Baden-Württemberg initiated and co-financed by MFG Medien- und Filmgesellschaft Baden-Württemberg mbH.
Diversity makes the four-country region of Lake Constance attractive not only for business and the film industry, but also for visitors and guests. We want to offer unique filming locations and exemplary work opportunities for filmmakers. At the same time, it is important for us to be a home for people working in the media. The FilmCommission Lake Constance is intended to offer support.
Its goal is to market the VLRB as an attractive film and TV location. We want to use and promote the potential of the film industry at Lake Constance.
The central element is free advice and support for domestic and foreign filmmakers regarding their film projects in the VLRB.
Among other things, we offer support in the search for film locations, accommodation for the crew or in establishing contacts with authorities, film-related service providers and young talents in the region.

Characterized by Lake Constance, Germany's largest lake, with its picturesque, hilly countryside, distinctive lakeside landscapes and a glorious Alp panorama, the region forms a scenery of a very special kind. Orchards and vineyards, historic buildings from the early Middle Ages to the opulent Baroque and the most modern architecture, village idylls, picturesque little towns and economically strong cities provide a variety of topics as well as castles and world cultural heritage sites that are known beyond the regional borders or industrially shaped and internationally successful enterprises.
Tradition and modernity, regionality and internationality are in positive balance as in hardly no other region.
From the script to the sound studio
In addition to the visual attractions, the region offers a number of companies from the film and media industry as well as film-related service providers. Furthermore, a number of companies from the commercial and craft sector as well as from the hotel and restaurant sector can be found here.
